Why this name?
Each Member is Crazy For Real and we all have tryed to kill ourselfs at one point or another and have been admitted the Psych Ward in the past! so the name really fits us well! listen to our lyric and you will see we are truely f***ed in the head
Do you play live?
We Play Live all the time in Cleveland we mainly play the Agora or Peabody's! Hell yea we love performing our sh*** live! every show is a special moment
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It Helps underground artist like us reach the masses without selling out and making radio friendly crap and it also give us a way to promote our music to a newer level and to more people then the city we live in!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Hell Yea, Signing to a major label aint selling out and going soft! you gotta pimp that label and let them know who's the artist
Your influences?
Psych Ward Started Back around 1996 as a side project for MC Sick who was doing has own solo stuff and working with another group called "da pitch fork crew" Psych Ward was mainly doing show their own way like setting up shows in warehouses, or their homies house and parties. Psych Ward also tryed their hand in the local rap scene back then but was label too sick and satanic for the local rap scene in 1999 Psych Ward suffered the loss of their dj "Dj Psychotic" leaveing it only to be MC Sick and Jack Da Tripper still in Psych Ward! in 2001 Tripper started to have mental brake downs and was unable to go on with Psych Ward! in march of 2002 the new Psych Ward was formed when Zodiac Killa joined later came the 3rd and final member Spooky! Psych Ward ripped sh*** up in 2002 thru Cleveland and Akron, Ohio and also earned the opening spot for Twiztid's Akron Highland Theater show in June of 2002. Psych Ward Released Their first CD as the newly Formed Psych Ward in December 2002 called "Freak Style", in 2003 Psych Ward became the 1st Rap act to be widely known thru out the whole Cleveland Music Scene and show the scene they had balls to play any show they wanted to play no matter whut style of music! also in 2003 Psych Ward Open up for such national act as Mushroom Head,Dope,Wolf Pac,Esham,Blaze ya dead homie,Dog Fashion Disco,Zug Izland, and The Misfits! now its 2004 and Psych Ward's now ready to take over the world!
