Dank Squad is a Rap/Hip-Hop group stemming from 3 different bureaus in New York; Brooklyn, The Bronx, and Queens. And all ending up together in a shitty town called Queensbury in Upstate New York. Dank Squad was originally formed as a clique of tight knit friends in our early High School years. Sean SpeeZy and WillyTweed started rapping in their freshman year in Highschool, ironically influenced by terrible rappers.

"I got tired of hearing kids try to battle each other and being absolutely terrible at it, so I went home one day and wrote a diss to all of them, and destroyed them. It became a passion of mine from there on." ~SpeeZy

Another large influence was a group called "HydroClick" from WillyTweeds home town which contained two of his cousins. Everyone in Dank Squad used to listen to their music religiously. Dank Squad started by recording on a stock computer mic with terrible quality, just to get music laid down. They later upped their quality and started working with Dru from "One Shot Entertainment."

They moved on and started rapping with a crew called "SuSpect Enterprises." That fell through and Dank Squad was reformed in 2008 with Sean SpeeZy, WillyTweed, and Scary Movie. They are currently working on their new mixtape titled "Headed For Hell" which will feature a good sized track list of new music and will be released in 2010.
