Jose Marti and William Shakespeare were two influential poets during their time.Marti was a Cuban Poet , self educated and politically involved in Cuba and New York during the 1800's. As we all know William Shakespere is arguebly the most famous poet in the world along with Edgar Allen Poe. Ill Poets is the re-incarnation of these two people, back as Marti The Assassin also a Cuban rapper from Hialeah, Florida and Shakespere the new fro'd out version of the 1600's poet.
