Why this name?
we took the two words: Word + Smiths and put them together without a space between them and made the s in Smiths lower case.
Do you play live?
we did but every one in the crowd died so we're not allowed to play our songs live anymore.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The ability to spread your music worldwide for practically no charge helps artists who would otherwise not be heard.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
only if a iced out grill was included.

Growing up in KY we've been influenced by all types of music from Hip-hop to Metal to Bluegrass. Mix it all together and you got the Wordsmiths.
