Cowboy Buddha is a "Roots Pop" band from Costa Mesa, California. They play a unique blend of 70's pop, 50's country and 80's DIY rock music. Robert Kinsler of The Orange County Register said the band sounds like, "an old friend who has been away far too long." They have been compared favorably to: The Flying Burrito Brothers, The Velvet Underground, REM and Crazy Horse.

Band History:
Cowboy Buddha has been playing together for about 3 years. Fletcher Harrington, the songwriter and lead singer of the band moved to California from Mississippi and formed the band in 1995. Rocky Monge plays the bass guitar, Brit Collins plays the lead guitar and Stephen Thornton provides the rhythm as the drummer.
