Why this name?
I actually got the name Oracle from the Matrix and Immortals. The Oracle can always forsee the future and I feel like I can HEAR the future.
Do you play live?
I play live with a few bands in the Kansas City area. I love it. It's really fun making people dance.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think it's better for independent artists because the power now belongs to us whereas before record companies had the upper-hand.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I'm not sure. It would depend on what the terms were.
Band History:
I play the organ and drums. I started playing the drums at age 4 then moved to the organ at 15. I started writing music for my church choir then began to dabble in production at 18 when I purchased my first fostex 4 track recorder. I've been cultivating this gift ever since.
Your influences?
Twinkie Clark, Michael Jackson, Prince, and many others.
Equipment used:
I use very basic equipment right now but it gets the job done.
