Why this name?
It's actually from an old Bible story. In Acts 20 there's a story about a young guy named Eutychus listening to the Apostle Paul speaking. It's late at night and he's sitting in a window opening on the third story. As the night wears on he nods off to sleep and falls to the ground dying on impact. Everybody rushes down to where he is and Paul raises him from the dead.
We just found it funny that this young guy nods off and falls out the window while listening to one of the most influential speakers in the history of time...

Do you play live?
Eutychus Falling plays bars, clubs, and festivals all over the Chicagoland area. We love to play out and get great feedback as a live band.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It changes everything! The internet is a new distribution channel for music like nothing ever before in history. One of our songs can be heard anytime day or night anywhere on the planet.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
It would depend on the label and the terms.
Your influences?
We have a lot of influences as a band and as individuals in the band. Anything from Live, Eve 6, Foo Fighters, Creed, Matchbox Twenty to Kenny Wayne Shepard, CCR, SRV, Springsteen and so on.
Favorite spot?
Sweet home Chicago! (Except for our guitarist Josh who would prefer living in the middle of nowhere.)
Anything else...?
We truly have a sound that crosses generational boundaries. We have an edge that appeals to younger crowds but enough true blue rock in us to please some older crowds too.
