Born in 1935, Paul Thompson began playing the guitar at age 12. He wrote his own songs; both the words and music and began playing clubs, rodeos and fairs in Texas and Louisiana in 1955. Several 45's were recorded over the years and in 1985 his album "Home Grown Country" was recorded on cassette in a Tyler, Texas studio. Efforts were made to promote this album when in 1995 catastrophic health problems ended all hopes for a career, but not his love of country music. Now you can enjoy this 80's style country on music CD.
