Band History:
We are a Metal Core band based out of Toms River, NJ. Prior to this band, 3/5 of its members (Jim, Carmen, and Mike) were in a death metal band called Shackled Humanity. Then Carmen quit and Shackled Humanity played for a period of time with a new vocalist. Tensions in the band grew and satisfaction with its sound fell apart which led to the break up of Shackled Humanity. Jim, Mike, and Dave (Shackled's 2nd guitarist for a short time) went on jamming together ultimately leading to the creation of something completely different from what they had been doing in Shackled Humanity. Now, as Burnt To Ashes they had been developing new material but a small set back arose when Dave began showing little interest and dedication in the band so he was kicked out. Jim and Mike later tried out and inducted Kevin into the band as their bassist, but they were still in need of a vocalist so Carmen tried out a few times leading to his eventual induction into Burnt To Ashes. Kevin had to quit in September due to college. Later that month, Roy tried out on bass and Kyle tried out on guitar and both were inducted, finishing the lineup. Our 5 song EP entiled "Baptized in Lies and False Hopes" is now available for $5.
