When I was a kid people like Elvis,Motown artists,
the British invasion bands of the 60's.
Later on folk,blues,southern rock. Songwriters
like James Taylor, Chapin, Croce,The Byrds,Eagles
and so many others.Merle Haggard, willie Nelson
and country rock bands like Poco,Pure Prarie League and America.Being a vocalist first and foremost, music with great harmonies, hooks & lyrics.
