HooDiz is a creative collaboration between friends who enjoy making music in a variety of styles and genres.
Why this name?
We liked the idea of renaming the band every week, but fretted over the "Who's this?" factor. A modified version of the name stuck.
Do you play live?
We like to play live. Getting paid is always a special moment.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Life is short. Make music and share it. The internet, mp3s and Soundclick are great for that.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yeah right. Make us an offer.
Band History:
The primary band members got to know each other by email, which finally led to meeting in person for some basement jams. The result of which is the current project.
Your influences?
Our tastes and talents are wide and varied. We've played and been influenced by rock, blues, jazz and more.
Favorite spot?
There's no place like home.
