Four Ways To Fall are located in Cardiff, UK and comprise of 4 members, Alex Carr (vocals, guitar), Joe Daniels (vocals/guitar), Jon Constantine (Bass), Jordan Hayward (drums). The one thing that makes this band special is that the band formed as high school friends without any experience of playing music, they learnt to play the instruments together, play as a unit and been fortunate enough not have any changes in the lineup.

The music the band play has been described as emo/punk/metal/hardcore/rock but then again so has everyone else
Why this name?
We used to go under the name Feenix but obvious similarities with fenix tx meant we had to change our name. Four Ways To Fall was agreed by all members and just stuck with it
Do you play live?
At the moment we're playing around South Wales, and have played the likes of Cardiff Barfly, Tj's, Clwb Ifor Bach, Engine Rooms, Bridgend Tollhouse and Merthyr Rooms. Hopefully this year we'll be playing more venues around the whole of United Kingdom and touring in the summer

One of the highlights of last year was reaching the Battle of the Bands final in merthyr, it was a kind of surprise getting that far as no one really knew us and only entered in order to get more gigs up there.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
For unsigned bands the internet is a brilliant source to get your music out to people who, under different circumstances would not hear your music. The internet promotes bands of all types and opens the door to a wider audience/fanbase for everyone. It may have effects on the industry where it loses money but everyone has to adapt to changes in order
Band History:
Four Ways to Fall consist of Joe Daniels (guitar/vox), Alex Carr (guitar/vox), Jon Constantine (Bass) and Jordan Hayward (Drums). The band were formed around 1999 and have been playing live since 2002 under their old name Feenix, playing with the likes of The Futureheads, Jarcrew, Carsondown, Nuke, Desensitized, The Dangerfields, Touched by Midas, Johnny Mental, Petes Sake, Forgone Conclusion and RSJ to name a few.

During their time as Feenix, the band managed to play over 30 gigs around South Wales, gaining valuable experience from playing live, watching other bands play and from feedback from a number of close friends. As Four Ways to Fall the band hope to expand on their fanbase and play further afield, there are no limits to what you can achieve, and for a band who eat, sleep and drink music the future is promising.
