Modern Defense is primarily a noise-rock band. While the bass and drums give a solid backing, our guitars have diverse sounds. The guitar sounds vary from light overdrive sounds, to synth-like textures, to spacious walls of sound.
Do you play live?
we play in northern new jersey, and plan on playing all over soon
Band History:
Modern Defense was formed in 2003 by Michael Duke (vocals, guitar) and Bob Jewell (bass, guitar), and Some Guy on drums. Some Guy didn't work out, and after his departure Modern Defense was inactive most of the year. In December, Aaron Igel began playing drums for the band, and Modern Defense rocked again.

Equipment used:
We are not an electronica or techno band, but our recordings include a lot of synth-like electronic noise. This is all produced by guitars with electronic processing. we rarely use synthesizers
