How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet changes the music industry a lot. It opens doors to the "no name" musicians and creates a doorway to the music industry or to the outside world. One thing about the music industry is that the doorway to it is packed. Meaning, so many competitive artist are trying to get thru the door to the music world and create a name for themselves. Some will make it and some will move away from the door. But thats what i love about the music industry because is like you're in a room where u see nothing but competition and the only tools u really need is ur soul, mind and heart.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
if it wasnt for hip-hop from the 90s, i wouldnt have been jammin wutang or stayin up late finishing my graffiti drawings. and now all the artist who helped hip-hop fun in the era manage to disappear and is not doing their own thing... To me that shows that todays music industry isnt interesting as it use to.. and if it wasnt for their lyrical delivery i wouldnt have the motivation i have now.. so most likely i wouldnt... I follow a true leader and hope that someday to become one.. =]
Band History:
I started out at the age of 10 by going to them break dancing events back in 95-97 in this little place in Vancouver, WA called "Bagley". At the time i started listening to Underground hip-hop and would try to remember the lyrics and rap them. Years went on i started listening to Pac and his crew, and biggie and his crew. During high school I met a few cats at the mall and introduce me to Cool Edit pro and gave me Eminems first Solo Underground CD "Infinite" and due to eminems lyrical delivery, he inspired me start rappin and so forth i started to brain storm and jot some ideas down and brought them together and create one good music.
