My band consists of only one person, being myself. I don't want to create pretty songs or cheering melodies, because I think there are plenty of bands who will do that for you. My music is about my deepest (sometimes darkest) feelings, my deepest thoughts, echoes from my unconscious mind. I'd like to share some of that with other people. That means my music is a very personal artistic expression. Maybe people will recognise certain things in it, maybe it will only comunicate certain feelings or maybe it will do nothing at all. It is not up to me.
Why this name?
The name is partially inspired by a song called "the gloaming" from Radiohead's album "Hail to the Thief". Somewhere in this song Thom Yorke sings "they will suck you down to the onther side". These lyrics really communicated to me. So the idea arose to use the name "sucked down". When I thought about it, it occured to me that when people really listen to my music they will get a glimpse of my deepest thoughts. Maybe they will be sucked down by them, that's the risk of listening to my music

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The music industry ask way to much money for an average album, they practically invite people to start downloading. Maybe this will be bad for the industry but it's their own fault.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If I was offered one I'd do that, yes. That would mean I could reach more people
