Born in Dar-Es-Salaam, East Africa - Tanzania, Yussuf Migoko found himself off to England in his early years. At only about three or four years of age, his parents were divorced and he moved to live with his Mother who was doing Law on a fellowship in Holland. After that move to Europe, the duo made another globe trot to the tropical paradise called Jamaica. It is here where he found his new home and family. Growing up with mainly women in his life (four sisters at home), contributed to alot of his poetic and lyrical upbringing and in short, why he is a gentleman. Now a published poet, a past choir member, a songwriter, athlete and much more, yussuf is working on touching the lives of many. Even trying to make something in the world a better place, to live in, to be a part of and to find peace and love.
Why this name?

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It brings music to a wider global network and allows more people, who otherwise could not afford a new CD every month, to listen to what they like and what they don't like.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
most definitely
Band History:
There's no one style that can truly brand or confine the skill and craft of "Yussuf". Lyrically gifted and with an education from a wide set of sources, there's no limit to "Yussuf". There's just this fetish for leaving fans and others with something to talk about for a while, and then doing it all over again. It's also about writing hit songs and songs that mean something, whether Pop, Rock, R&B, Country, Christian or Reggae. There's a song for every mood so with "Yussuf", there's no way you can loose, if one cut doesn't do it, the next one will. Peace and God bless..
