I was born and raised in Los Angeles and have been up on this hip hop music since the beginning. Hip Hop raised me. I didn't care what region it was from. My first record I bought was Melle Mel and Grandmaster Flash - "8th Wonder" but once I heard "Sucker MC's" and then "Jam on it", it was wrap. I was hooked for life. I remember break dancing against other cats in school and rocking the blue & white suede Pumas when they first came out! Now I eat, sleep and breath this hip hop sh**!
I feel like my greatest assets are my knowledge of hip hop and it's history and my passion for the music. I have never ever done the music for the money. Not ever! I do it for the love and that's why I can never stop...I just wish that more artists to today cared more about the music than the money.

Why this name?
As for my name, I went through a few different names until I came upon Skitzo, then I eventually dropped the "O" and it became, "Skitzz". It describes me to a tee. One minute I'm on some east coast sh**, the next minute I'm on some west coast sh**, then I'm on some club sh**. It also describes my personality. I am never what people expect. It's like I have two different personalities. One is the 9-5 mellow dude from Grad school, the other is the producer with the ideas and the Young Jeezy album bumpin' out my stereo...

Band History:
In 10th grade, I used to try mixing two different songs on my uncles Pioneer-CDJs until I came up with something that I thought sounded like a new song, then me & my crew would spit over that. It wasn't till I copped my MPC2K in '99 that I really got serious. Since then, I've copped two keyboards, another MPC and the rest of my equipment to round out my studio. The first beat I sampled was off of Michael Jackson's "Off the Wall" album. That was really my first beat. I love that album and always told myself that I would one day sample a song from that album.
So I've been making beats for me & my groups and other local artists since '99 or so...My style is neither East Coast nor West Coast nor Down South...I can pretty much do whatever beat I feel like doing that day; club tracks, battle tracks, west coast tracks, eats coast tracks, etc. You name it, I have done it. Like I said before, I grew up listening to Gangstarr and MC EIHT as well as NWA and WU-TANG. So my tastes are all over the place. I don't really have a signature sound. I make music based on feel...So whatever you need I can do it...

I'm into music you can feel. We aren't here to change the world but just make music you can feel, whether it's depressing, exciting, happy or whatever...So if we said it we lived it. Just realness.
