Formed from the ashes of now defunct progressive hardcore act Iad, Flint Michigan's A Murder of Crows have sought to distance themselves from the average and sub-par crop of bands littering the musical landscape. Comprised of three founding Iad members: Jake Garman (vocals), Jay Voelker (guitar), Jason Messler (bass), and completed with the addition of former Undecided Ritual guitarist Mike Smith, and former Mercury Trigger drummer Adam Delahaye.
