I started out in a place where there was no souch thing as in helping one succeed, but keeping GOD in mine, and in my music, I'm succeeding and will continue to, see everyone in the future!!
Why this name?
It was given to me by a girl as a joke, I liked it, and soon I rearanged the spelling and came up with Dj Dar-Que, which means "DJ House-What"
Do you play live?
I play live at raves, and local night clubs. I love it because of the vibe and the people.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It keeps everybody up with whats going on in the music buisness, I guess if everyone had to pay for music, there probably wouldn't be as many listeners, so very good thing, to keep up with music.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
The one I'm on in order to release my songs and get the copy rights, I had to have a record label. So now Im working with locals trying to get there selfes noticed. Soon as my album gets released, I'll be heard.
Your influences?
Al Green, CZR, Roy Davis Junior, Dj Dan, Hip Hop, Rock, Funk, Jazz, all music.
