My name is Young White. I hail from Cleveland, Ohio. I'm just a rookie in this hip hop game trying to make good music for your everyday life.
Why this name?
My real name is Dwight hence the nickname "White" and the Young just fit well lol.
Do you play live?
I haven't performed yet. I'm not even known so my mission right now is to get established so I can perform live.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
My opinion is that it helped AND hurt the game. I'm old school with the grind. I'd rather shake hands and kiss babies than hustle on a keyboard, but in the same breath the internet opens up more avenues for you to get a fanbase across the world.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I doubt it. I'd rather work my 9-5 Monday through Friday, fly and go do a major show on Saturday, come home Sunday and get ready to do my 9-5.

Your influences?
Really, people telling me when I started off that I can't rap or that I'm just doing it because everyone else is doing it. I've been writing since the age of 8 and I've always had a passion for it. Its just that NOW I'm not as shy or afraid to show my talent. But musically, I'm heavily influenced by Jay-Z, Kanye, T.I., Fabolous, and Lupe Fiasco.
Favorite spot?
CLEVELAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Flaws and all....
