Why this name?
We chose the name BassLine Wreckords basically because i love music with a good bassline to it and we are gonna tear things down thats where we get the Wreckords bit from, we amalgomated the two to form BassLine Wreckords.
Do you play live?
The rock band Funk Em have played many live shows in various places around Belfast mainly (hometown). They are currently preparing for the first big acheivement that the label has been part of, their concert at Belfast's Grand Opera House with ticket sale's going well it looks like a packed out crowd for Funk Em.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think the internet gives people a new stage to show their talent on, it is moving us away from the day's when only people in your hometown know of your skills now people from all around the world can listen and appreciate the skills of people who just make music for the love of music.
MP3 is a fantastic format for music as it gives everyone a chance to listen to music which perhaps they would never have heard before.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I would leave that decision up to the artists involved, our aim is to ensure publicity and recording time for our artists and to get them a break in the industry, we are not here for any big financial gains we are here for the love of music.
