I usually perform solo, so I just use my real name.

I love playing live! I've been playing my songs in coffee houses, concerts in the park, outdoor festivals & at the Songwriters Workshop that I present once a month.
I got to play in a couple of songwriter rounds in Nashville, Tennessee. To play in Nashville was one of the goals I had set for myself, so that was very exciting for me!

The internet is great because it gives all musicians an equal footing. It gives us all a place for our music to be heard.

Well, it would depend on what was in the contract. I wouldn't sell my soul for one! :-)

Family country music shows are where I started out singing & playing guitar. After that I fronted several bands & played as a duo with my husband, John. In 1991, I got interested in songwriting & it has become a passion. I joined the Nashville Songwriters Association, Int. & established a workshop for them which is still going.
In 2000, I recorded a CD of all original songs called "Break The Chain"! Right now I'm in the process of recording tracks for another CD which will hopefully be ready for release by April 2005!

Everything I've ever heard has influenced me. I like all kinds of music. The first music I ever bought with my own money was a Jimmy Hendrix album "Are You Experienced?" & Janis Joplin. Since I've gotten into songwriting, all the great singer/songwriters have influenced me. I especially like Sheryl Crow, Tom Petty, Lucinda Williams, Tori Amos. I've studied Bob Dylan's songs. I like his lyrics.

I like the mountains around Salt Lake City, Utah. I was fortunate to get to live there for a couple of years! It's beautiful!
