Why this name?
I don't know really how we got our name, but we have it and that's what matters. Shrapnel- is little pieces of metal that fly out of a bomb or gernade and hit people and kill them.
Do you play live?
We haven't played live yet, well we have but not at a club. It was just for some friends. We need to get more songs before we play at Side Car Pub.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I belive that the internet does change the music industry. I think that bands who want there music on the internet and allow people to get the music for free thats what they want. I belive that you should put a couple demo songs on the internet and then if they want the rest of the songs then they can buy the CD. But I dont think you should spend all your time on your life career and then everybody get your work for free, you wouldnt get your profit which would cause your band not to make it. So I do belive that the internet does change the music industry.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
HELL YES!!! We need to get signed and make some money. Were not doing it just for the money we just want to make a living doing something we love and we need to get signed and make money to support our families.
Your influences?
Our musical influences would have to be;Jimi Hendrix,old Metallica,Stevie Ray Vaughn,Fair to Midland,Tool,System of a Down,and im sorry there's just to many to list but hard rock like PANTERA, and old woodstock69 type of music,and Reggea,Punk,Ska,and yes yes its true some country and Southside rap and my friends in D/FW GCP or Frostbite.Frostbite is on this site listen to his song he is very good its my brother.
Favorite spot?
Caddy: I dont know where i guess just chillin with my best friends like the Bayou group and the band!
Scab: It would have to be with my girlfriend which I will always love Taylor Davis.
