Leasing rights agreement: Leasing rights allow you to use the beat (or song) for ONE commercial recording or broadcast. This recording can then be distributed at your price for up to 2,000 copies. Selling more than 2,000 copies means you must acquire a new lease or exclusive rights. You may also use the beat for non-profit promotional use or demos. You have full rights to record, alter, mix the beat/song in any shape, way, or form (except reselling the beat). You will receive a contract in the mail granting you non-exclusive rights to the beat. In the event that someone buys exclusive rights to the beat you have leased, your rights shall stand and the beat is still yours to use. You may also acquire new leasing rights if you sell more than 2,000 copies since your contract predates exclusive sale. The seller will not receive a royalty from the sale of records or downloads. You must however give full credit to the seller, StaticBeatz(on all commercial recordings. Upon purchasing leasing rights, the seller still owns the beat(s) and the seller is able to resell the beat(s) to any other party until exclusive rights have been purchased.
Leasing rights delivery/purchase options information: Upon receiving payment for the leasing rights of a musical composition, StaticBeatz will send the buyer an encoded mp3 file of that musical composition (320kbps mp3) within 24 hours. This will be delivered via email (as an attachment).
Exclusive rights agreement: This contract between StaticBeatz and the buyer’s party (hereinafter referred to as the “Agreement”) is executed and effective upon purchase of the exclusive rights of a musical track by and between the buyer and StaticBeatz. Terms and conditions are as follows: The musical composition(s) sold by StaticBeatz become the property of the buyer. The buyer is granted exclusive ownership to the composition/track, unlimited recordings using that track, sales and broadcasts for the song(s) they create with that track. The buyer is permitted every right included in a lease agreement, but on an unlimited scale and is made the sole owner of that musical composition/track. Production credits must be given to StaticBeatz for their work on the creation of the purchased musical composition/track.
Exclusive Rights Delivery/Purchase options Information: Upon receiving payment for the exclusive rights of a musical composition, StaticBeatz will send the buyer download links for the individual tracks of the purchased musical composition via email within 48hours. These tracks will be in .Wav format (the choice of 24/32bit is to the buyer’s discretion). The buyer will also receive the full song in both .Wav and mp3 format. Once a price for the exclusive rights of a musical composition have been agreed upon by both StaticBeatz and the buyer, payment will be required in FULL before anything regarding the musical composition is sent to the buyer. Payment is accepted by PayPal ONLY. Any other form/method of payment will be refused. NOTE: The pricing of exclusive rights of different may vary due to the value of the musical composition (determined by StaticBeatz). NOTE: Exclusive rights to musical compositions are intended for ARTISTS only – not producers. You are not permitted to purchase the exclusive rights of a track with the intention of reselling those rights to another party.
