Taurus "DJ SelfMade" Kuykendall is a full time music producer/DJ born and raised in Milwaukee, WI. He is well known for producing and hosting mixtapes for artist in the Midwest area.

Early career
DJ SelfMade has been DJ-ing and producing music for a little over a decade. His influence when he first began we're DJ's like DJ Drama, Don Cannon, DJ Scream, No I.D, Kanye West, Scott Storch, Johnny Juliano, DJ Banga, DJ Khaled, Lex Luger, David Guetta, and many more.

DJ SelfMade has helped many artist like himself develop sounds that were different from other artist and producers. He has been offered a lot of opportunities to work with a lot of local and international talent, also to DJ at local clubs and help promote events. His first experience DJ-ing was at the well known club 618 Live on water st, with his mentor DJ Banga. After that night he was offered more opportunities from various promoters and DJ companies to DJ at many other clubs, venues, weddings, parties, etc all over Wisconsin such as Club Indigo, Club Wett, and was also assigned as an official MidWest Sound DJ which helped him book more DJ gigs.

Genre of music
DJ SelfMade does not focus on any specific genre of music, he has an ear for all kinds of music and sounds. Which allows him to produce all types of instrumentals and DJ at any event that comes up.

Collaborations
SelfMade has had great opportunities to work with talented artist all over Wisconsin including Cannon, BIZ, Brew City, M'Aye, Mike Ray, Running Rebels, Yung Raw, DJ Banga, Keiz Vantosh, DJ So-perfect, and many more. There are also opportunities being discussed through BMI with G-Unit records, Def-Jam, Koch, and many other well known record labels and broadcasting companies.
