Imagine a head-on collision involving the Ramones and the Misfits. Now add keyboards and a sarcastic sense of humor. That is Boney Fiend.
Why this name?
The secret of this enigma confounds us to this very day.
Do you play live?
Boney Fiend performs in and around the Tampa Bay area in Floriduh!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet is a wonderful tool for sharing a band's music with people all over the world.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, but not without understanding every detail of the contract.
Band History:
Boney Fiend began in 1994 playing an energetic mix of punk-influenced metal (or perhaps metal-influenced punk). After 4+ years of blasting the ear-drums of Tampa's bar staff and patrons and a massive rotation of bass players and drummers, the band died.
Mad Dr. Chad reformed the band in 1999 with drummer Jonny, bassist Mikey, and original guitarist Jimmy. It was rock 'n' roll and it was good.
Mad Dr. Chad was pleased.
The band proceeded to write and record new songs. They focused their energies on what they knew: beer, horror movies, and rock 'n' roll. They garnered numerous good reviews and played countless shows in their hometown and around the state of Floriduh.
In 2002, Mad Dr. Chad decided that the band was ready and inserted himself into the group. A four-piece once more, Boney Fiend continues on it's quest to outlive everyone else and the flavors-of-the-month.

Your influences?
Our music is wonderful blend of the 3 and 4 chord rock 'n' roll of the Ramones with the lyrical influence of the Misfits.
