My new release "Spontaneous" is just out for 2004 and has 15 songs that are sexy, fun, and full of life. Music should be an expression of the artist and their life, and my songs are all of that and more...... I tell everyone to "stay tuned" for me this year, its going to be my breakout year to shine.

CarolB is vibrant, sexy, and unique all rolled into one package that is about to turn the music world on its ear. Her new album "Spontaneous" is a mix of Top 40 Pop and R&B songs that are reflections of life, love, loss and with sexy innuendos thrown in. All of the songs are fun to dance and listen to and come with a warning "they will grow on you really fast"!
Why this name?
Everyone calls me "Barbi" or "CarolBarbi" but since I dont want to be a Brittany clone the name CarolB fits me and the style of my music leaving a little mystery to it.
Do you play live?
I am in rehearsals now for touring, and hope to begin touring this year in conjunction with the release of my album.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It opened it up wide to many who never could have been noticed before, the music industry is very tight otherwise, and this allows many very talented people to have a stage to the world.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Several major labels have indicated interest after hearing my album, we shall see what the offer is, but one thing, I wont be signed and put on a shelf.
Band History:
It all started in the year 2000 when modeling, a acquaintance told me that I could really make it big if I could only sing. So I stopped singing in the shower and stepped onto the stage and into the recording booth shortly after.
Your influences?
Tough question because I am influenced by all music, but some of the greats with staying power are the ones I admire the most, including Madonna. She keeps evolving over time and still keeps putting out a great sound, always growing, Cheryl Crow is in that same category.
Favorite spot?
Gotta say "San Francisco" the city by the bay, I love it there.
Anything else...?
My music evolves, I am not one to be locked into one Genre, so dont expect me to have the same sound in my delivery or music from song to song. That would be so boring..........
