Myles Isaiah Cooper (Better known as Johnny The L) was born on March 28, 1994 in Fairfax VA. Johnny began making music at the age of 13 but decided to get serious when he was 16. Johnny is a producer, a writer, a mc, and a musician. You might consider him to be the overall artist. Johnny's interest in music has always been a main component in his life as a child and as a young man. He continues to challenge himself in creating a new sound every time he produces a new song.

Why this name?

Johnny The L is basically another side of me. I was just meditating and I heard the name "Johnny". At first I thought it was just a random thought but it kept popping up in my mind so I just stuck with it. "The L" I just added on because it sounded good.

Do you play live?

I would if I could book a show.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

It really allows those with musical talents to express themselves to the world. Alot of the music I hear over the internet is a thousand times better than the music that on the radio so it really gives artist a chance at being heard.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

I listen to alot of different artist but they really dont influence the style of music I produce.
