We're Pictures of the Sky from PA. More or less just a duo of studio songwriters playing incredibly epic shreddy acoustic jams. Sometimes it gets heavy, most times its whatever it wants to be. Everything is written, produced and recorded solely by Pictures of the Sky @ Outer Body Fine Arts Boutique Studios.
Why this name?
One time I was in a car and someone said they wanted to take pictures of the sky. Pretty much just stuck in my head from then on. I was just a solo artist playing as POTS back then.
Do you play live?
Occasionally. Its hard to stick the music in a live setting, especially as only 2 dudes with guitars without backtracks. Sometimes too much for coffee shops, but never really enough for bars or clubs. Until we grow full on into a band or something changes (neither of which are in the works), endless EP's it is.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Endlessly. Just look at what we can do without a label. The problem now is getting people to listen in ways other than seeing you live.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Eh. Would they want to sign us?

Was just me, now its me and him. It's a pretty good situation.
