Hummm just my emotions and moods. First question is normally "Whats with the name dude?". Well it has a double meaning I adopted the name Shakz because of my appreciation for Shakespeare, and my extreem addiction to gallons of coffee a day. I just wanted to share the tunes in my head with others :)
My love for music started at an early age. I suppose its because my father was a guitarist, my grandmother played an autoharp, and almost everyone in my family sings.

When I was around 14 I found this old electric guitar at a pawn shop near my house. I dragged my mother down to see it, she had a certain look of hope in her eyes as I begged for it. Being a single mother we didnt have much money so I gathered up my cds and she brought some of her jelwery. With all that and $20 from some lawn mowing I had my first guitar. After I joined the Army I had the money to pick up an old keyboard and a drummachine from yet another pawn shop. From all this was the birth of Shakz.
