This is the Aero Pirates page. Aero Pirates are a Avant Experimental music group that combines elements of rock, electronic music, and spoken word into a unique sound.
Why this name?
Thomas came up with the name while he was in New York.
Do you play live?
We do not play live at the moment. Maybe when we get a couple of other people involved we might start playing live.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The net evens out the playing field a bit. It allows people to hear music they wouldn't have gotten to hear before with the previous methods of the music industry.
Band History:
The project started as Jason Mosack and Thomas Hinton tinkering around at Jason's house with a four track tape recorder. The duo would jam on ideas and record the results. Sometimes they would work, other times they wouldn't. Thomas and Jason continued over the past couple of years and though the equipment has changed and some new elements have been added, the idea has remained.

Jason - Rock, Jazz, Experimental music, various forms of electonic music
Thomas - Indie rock, alt rock, punk, jazz, blues, classical, piano(dear god do I love the piano)
