Why this name?
10 WEST is a name of a freeway in los Angeles, California. if u're familiar wit the los angeles area u gotta know the 10 WEST freeway coz its the best example for rush hours and stuff and we comin out in the rush hour....04.
Do you play live?
not yet,i basically jus got theg roup together, we still tryin to get at least 1 more member but as many as 2 more tohugh and after that, we'll record party trax then do live.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
the internet could change the industry. its a lotta A&R's loggin on to sites like thee to see raw talent instead of having to go out to the streets so it'll definately increase awareness of those that dont have the opportunity to stand on the block adn get they rap battle hustles on.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
mos Def. Got to. this is my callin... but if this dont work out... i'm going back to school to study pharmacy though. until then AFTERMATH, DIPSET, ROC-A-FELLA, SHADY RECORDS... y'all need to holla at ur boi!
Your influences?
my greatest musical influence would have to be a tie between Fabolous and Jadakiss. until i actually heard these cats spit i never tought i could do the rao thang. i mean its been influences b4 them but i feel they were the ones that made me confident to go out there and battle cats put em on the ground like i do....
Favorite spot?
fav spot so far will have to be Victoria Island in Nigeria but i still got plans to make it to the Playboy mansion and Palms hotel in Vegas....
