greg vincent's new album, Love's Last Laugh, has been released just in time for Valentine's Day. The eclectic collection of songs of love range from rock to country ditties, from standard lounge ballads to power pop, from blue-eyed r&b and soul to country rock.

It's about the songs. I'm not so much a singer-songwriter as a songwriter-singer. I do not fit into a genre. The genre fits the song. Those on my new album, "Love's Last Laugh," range from rock to country ditties, from standard lounge ballads to power pop, from blue-eyed r&b to country rock. It's a homemade album and I sing almost all the vocals and play almost all the music (mostly on keyboard) – but, as I said, it's about the songs.
Why this name?
Vincent is my middle name
Do you play live?

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Someone like me, who is not really a performer, gets to do something like this.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I'd like a publishing deal.
Band History:
I've been writing songs off and on since the early '70s. Performed a few concerts back then. Written over 200 by now. Only about 12 years ago did I start trying to make them into records, mostly a solo project. Can't stop myself.
Your influences?
Pretty much everyone from Hank Williams on.
Equipment used:
Yamaha keyboard, Tascam 8-track recorder, cheap drums with decent cymbals, and only recently Garage Band.
Anything else...?
It's in the songs.
