I'm 24 years old as I type this, and I've been into music basically since birth. I play guitar, bass, keyboards/piano, some drums and percussion, sing occasionally, and work with digital means like Reason, Ableton Live, etc.
Why this name?
Eleven59 is another way of writing 11:59, the last minute before midnight, meaning live life to the fullest, but also nearing the start of a new day, so there's always a chance for a new start.
Do you play live?
Hopefully soon!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think it's a great way to get exposure for new artists and to hear music without having to pay cash for something you may not like. If it weren't for the internet, I wouldn't have bought half the CDs I did in the last year or two.

But unfortunately some people abuse this and use it as a way to rip off the hardworking musicians out there.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Only if I got creative control and they didn't rip off my fans with high prices.
Band History:
Born in 1984 in London, Ontario, still live here, been playing guitar since I was 8 (self-taught) but really got serious with it at 13. Piano lessons from 10-15, clarinet in high school, lots of music history and theory lessons. I'm now completed Music Industry Arts at Fanshawe College.
