Brought up in the streets of Trenton, New Jersey (The Section), this young vibrant outgoing rapper uses his gift of creativity to express his thoughts so deeply that his sounds waves appear as a 3D image. Even thou the streets raised him and is surrounded by negativity, he turns his energy to heart felt lyrics that can only be recognized by true underground rap enthusiast. Come enter his world and let his lyrics captivate you along his rough journey.
Why this name?
The name was given to me from the streets. "B" stands for bad and "A" stands for Ass. I take control of my situations so that makes me the BA Da Boss.
Do you play live?
Whever the opportunity presents itself.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It opens doors in alot of ways. For the unsigned artist, we get a chance to expose our talents all over the world. We can appear musically in places we may not even have thought of. But at the same token its a double sword because the industry lose money due to illegal downloading. My motto is.....download my sh*t, and if you feelin me then support me.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If the opportunity knocks why not? If the deal is correct and I can still express my thoughts lyrically as I choose. I have to have say so in my career. I am not a puppet and I am not going to be anyones puppet for no amount of money.
Your influences?
Striclty hip-hop/rapp. I am an emcee. I can Iam influenced by the LOX, Notorious B.I.G., Big L, Mobb Deep and M.O.B
Favorite spot?
Hmmm.....New York would be one of them.
Equipment used:
Two turntables and a mic.....One phat emcee on the set...
