I am a member of The Other Side, a 4 piece roots-rock band based in Bloomington, Indiana.
Why this name?
It came from the lyrics of one of the first songs we wrote called The Grass Is Always Greener..on the other side. The term has a lot of meanings and we thought it was a cool name.
Do you play live?
Yes, we play in the Bloomington, Indiana area.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Janis Ian's philosophy of music echos mine...it is to be shared with the world.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Maybe.
Band History:

Your influences?
Too many to list but you would have to start with the Beatles, Eric Clapton, & Bob Dylan.
Favorite spot?
My home in Bloomington, Indiana.
Equipment used:
I play 60's reissue Fender Telecaster and a 73 Rickenbacker guitar with a Fender 65 Deluxe Reverb Amp. My practice bass is an LTD Esp-50 with a Peavey Minx amp. I normally gig with my Fender Highway 1 p bass with Ampeg amp.
