Arkeem Hopper (Born December 2, 1991), better known by his stage and producer name Keem The Dream AKA "Keemy On The Beat" is an idependent american rapper from a small town called York, South Carolina. Arkeem was given his nickname "Keem The Dream" in his early childhood by his older cousins and uncles. Arkeem grew up in the drug infested povertized neighborhoods of York. His father figures, role models, and others he looked to for guidance all became absent to his life due to federal and state convictions. He attended school with high grades but soon dropped out after his mother was shot twice durring a robbery in a check cashing store. Arkeem ran to the streets full speed after his mother was shot catching charges, participating in shootouts, drug dealing, and other criminal activities. He decided to turn away from the streets after serving 3 jail sentences for posession and losing the majority of males in his family to federal or state penitentiaries. Keem The Dream began expressing himself through his words bringing breath taking music and lyrics to the music industry. In February 2011 he started his own independent record label Beat Vandal Entertainment. Beat Vandal Entertainment consists of Keem The Dream, his artist and close brother Killmoves, Jay Fittz, and many other well known carolina artist. Keem The Dream is staying busy as he takes the music industry by storm releasing mixtapes, dvds, albums, and promoting his label and artist. He is now working on his up and coming street album entitled Million Dollar Dreamz which will debut on April 6, 2012. Keem The Dream is here to tell a story of the struggle, the streets, the good, and the bad of life as he stresses the importance of it all in his rhymes. "all my role models fed or doing state time, memories is all i got wish i could press rewind, big homie got hit they made him take 5, im like it coulda been me in the back of my mind, still hating on me they dont wna see me shine, ima do the damn thang thats the botton line, and my daddy always told me follow dollar signs, i sware you niggas oughta see the hunger in my eyes"-Keem The Dream
