Welcome to the SIGNAL THREE page!
Do you play live?
SIGNAL THREE plays live in Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and soon to reach other states.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's made small bands like us more available to the world. Since we're from a small town in the midwest, it's been hard for us to get our music out, but with the internet and mp3 technology, anyone can hear us.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
YES
Band History:
Signal Three was formed in the small college town of Pittsburg, KS during the fall of 1999 when brothers Jason Seal (guitars) and Roger Seal (drums/vocals) got together with Jake Redd (bass/vocals) to have a simple jam session. After several practices, a bond was formed, a second guitar player was added, and what was intended to be a waste of a Saturday afternoon, turned into a serious project.
In the fall of 2001, after a decent stint playing the local bar & party circuit, the band’s lead singer and second guitar player both left the group citing musical differences and bruised egos. The founding members regrouped, and after a lengthy search, brought on a new singer, Justin Gartner. With their strongest line-up to date, the band promises to deliver each time they take the stage armed with a set full of adrenaline-fueled rock and enough energy to fill an arena.
Signal Three is currently in the studio working on tracks for a full length album that they hope to release in the summer of 2005.
