2nd Agenda adds a new spirit to Rebel Folk Hip-Hop.

We perform with the wakefulness of Burlington Vt. and the passion for making conscientious music. We are a five-piece band consisting of Andy Lugo (lead guitar and vocals), Jeremy Sicely (Roland V-drums and vocals), Jeff Thompson (bass guitar), Transplante (turntables) and SK (emcee/spoken word).
Why this name?
Who doesn't have a 2nd agenda. Just pointing out the real is a real pretender. Behind closed ears there's a 2nd agenda.
Do you play live?
We are curently stuck in Burlington due to the lack of funds to play elsewhere. We play at clubs all over the area,we love it here!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Mp3 is the hidden gem for music. Unfortunately, like all new technology it can only be accessed by the upper class. Not to say we are upper class, I'm always late for class.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
In reality with the computer power the artist has, when it comes time to sign they can't rob us blind.
Band History:
We have been doing what a lot of bands in Burlington have been doing, playing at the Radio Bean and practicing our asses off. We know it’s not just about us. It is important to bring people to the shows so that the establishment can make money. We also help to promote the hell out of every gig. We promise to put on an insane show. At this point in the game money is not important to us we simply want to get our music out! We strive not to play covers and believe all our songs are better than what’s playing on the radio today.
Your influences?
Our influences range from everything you have heard and everything you have not.
Favorite spot?
Bulington Vt. baby!
Anything else...?
I just want to thank everyone who supports local music. We couldn't do it without you.
