We are two guys from different backgrounds who share the same musical influences. Alex is from Seattle and Mike is from Kansas City. We work together creating beats and music alike.
Why this name?
We've found that breakdowns are a vital and necessary part of a song/beat. Using the right technique you can turn an ordinary song into an extraordinary song via the breakdown.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It gives the listener a wider base of music choices which isn't solely based on what their local music store carries. Artists/listeners from across the globe can hear our music thanks to the internet/mp3.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
