My name is Mexicub (meksi-kyoob) spelled with no "E" at the end. I am originally from Louisville. I was with a bilingual rap group but now I went solo.
Why this name?
Because I am half Mexican and half Cuban, hence Mexi-Cub with no "E" at the end.
Do you play live?
I have done radio shows in Indianapolis, Louisville and Chicago. I have performed concerts in Denver, Co. Las Vegas, NV. Louisville, Ky and Indianapolis, IN. I love it and I am delighted to travel to perform and show some cultural mixture in the hip hop game.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think it really lets people share their talent in a broader audience allowing them to get the criticizm, whether good or bad, that they need to progress.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Sure I know they will have a more financial backing than i would allowing more promoting and distribution.
