Fabrication
An original mix of sounds and influences into a form of screamo which is their own. Inspired by a slew of artists, they are exactly what their idols are and were: art.
Why this name?
It was derived from a song by Underoath, obviously entitled "Short Of Daybreak"
Do you play live?
We're going to attempt to play a lot of shows come 2004 without any mishaps.. us and bad luck seem to run on the same course.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It helped the music scene, in our opinion. It opens up a world of possibility and promotes bands' releases and allows people to make decisions like, "Hey, is this new disc good enough to buy" and sh*** like that.. I think the RIAA is taking ridiculous measure to stop such a beautiful thing.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Maybe. It's pure speculation, so I wouldn't go into it.
