I make a crease with my arm

my blood scurries.
I take flesh from my palm
and rub it into elbow
feeling the thud of vein
an inch away
my chest feels like feathers
my helicopter ears speed

I count slow minutes
as if I am God
as if by counting them
they will pass easier
through my bloodstream.

I originally was cove and beam, but very early on,I made a typo. It stuck

Many "special" moments. I'd rather forget about them, though.

Yes. It gives the independant artist a reason to record. An audience.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I can't say, the option is not realistic.
