Hi, Northern Monkey is a solo dance music producer and DJ, based in the North East of England
Why this name?
Heard it on a film...can't remember which film though.
Do you play live?
Have played live in the past at various venues some quite large like colleges and univerisities.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Makes music more available, but screws over major artisits with people ripping off MP3's. but hey they should lower the price of CD's and people may buy more of them.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Absolutley. I want people to hear the music that I make, so a major label can get you the publicity.
Your influences?
House, trance, techno, ambient, chill out, basically anything that can grab my attention.
