We are Crown Of Pain. We are Christians, we are brazilian, we are doom, we are death. Covered in blood since our birth, this is what we are. Tragedy runs around, and we are there. Do we follow the tragedy, or does it follows us? We are glory. We are suffering. We are what is waiting in the end of life. We are Crown Of Pain.
Why this name?
THis name has a very spiritual and deep meaning. The word Crown represents our worship and reverence to the Almighty One, King of kings, Lord Of Lords, and the word Pain reminds us about His suffering for us. And the complete name Crown Of Pain, reminds us about His promise: Be faithfull and I'll bring you the Crown Of Life. Our pain here will be crowned, at the end, with Eternal Life.
Do you play live?
Crown Of Pain never played live, but is willing so.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The way that today we can have access to some artists that once would be near impossible to know is certainly the most important way that internet has changed the music industry.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Only God knows.
Band History:
Initially, it was a project that I had since 1999, but different reasons made me delay it until the end of 2003, when finally we recorded 2 songs for our demo Miserere Nobis. And the search for a line-up goes on...
