Waist Deep started as a band of thieves…Stolen feeling, Fear of Rejection. A band that takes pride from any area of music. Energy captured in the form of rhythm, from the hands and lungs of Eric Breeze, Percussion, Glenn Earl Clark, Vocals, Guitar, David L. Smith, Bass Guitar and Paul E. Clark, Vocals, Guitar.
Why this name?
Why not?
Do you play live?
Yes, we play all over Salt Lake and the surrounding areas.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It will change, but who can say how.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If the deal was right.... Yes.
Band History:
Two brothers, (Paul and Glenn Clark) founded the band after years of playing with each other. With the desire to write and play with other open hearted musicians. That match was formed with the powerful skills of Eric Breeze and Dave Smith, (who also have been involved with various bands and musicians throughout their lives.) So it's easy to see these guys are quite capable of doing what they are passionate about. The proof can be found at their next show. Just check out the web site for dates and locations.
Your influences?
The Bassist, David L. Smith comes from a mixed past of Bluegrass and heavy rock alternative. The type that lays down the groove, and punches 16.8 tons of bass in your face! Get you some!
Vocals, and Guitar, Paul E. Clark as seen at the freakin circus…Got any ritalin? Your connection to steady rock progression obsession. Just come to the show if you have any questions, or need a response lesson.
Deep Drummer, Eric Breeze is your assault on all that is percussive. From Jazz to Tribal and back again. No wonder you always wanted to be a drummer. Just listen and enjoy, that's all he asks of you.
Vocals, and Guitar, Glenn "Early Bird" Clark how can you say that "the reins have been released?" in all languages the way he says it with guitar. Come to terms with more than just a blue feeling.
