How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
There is more music accessible than ever before. It may have affected sales of major labels, but so many more performers get to be heard.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
For years that was my goal, but now that I have a family, it would have to be a sweet deal to get me to leave home. However, I would love to be the guy writing the songs for recording artists.

Your influences?
I was influenced by so much of music I heard in Philly, and I have to give credit to my guitar teacher, the late Jack McGann. I have folk roots, but also love jazz, blues and soul. Right now, I’m listening to blues and jazz vocalists and instrumentalists.
Favorite spot?
The Philadelphia Academy of Music has to be the best place in the world to hear music.
Equipment used:
I play shows with various Martin guitars, D16RGT (customized), DC1E, and an SWDGT At home, I play an old D-18 Martin, a Schulte custom Les Paul and an Epiphone Dot Studio. I have a Peavey Bandit amp, and in the studio, I use Sonar.
For shows, we use a small Berhringer PA, and we have a larger set up with 15" Cerwin Vegas with horns, a digital 800 amp and a Behringer mixer.
My wife plays an Ibanez acoustic bass and a Roadgear bass.
