Dark seductive shadows rise from ancient graves, bringing forth a powerful and electrified journey through creation and subtraction. Twisted shards of Rock music conjured by a single spirit. Welcome to Luna Reign....
Why this name?
On a dark night surrounded by candles, under a full moon. The name came to me in the ancient scripture of the angelics.
Do you play live?
Willing to play anywhere.......
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Its easyier for the smaller artists to get some publicity, but has resulted in saturation.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If I didnt get screwed in the process.
Band History:
Luna performed in many bands from 1994 onwards, including various styles like Rock, Metal, Jazz, Prog, Blues, Black Metal, Thrash and finally Gothic - his prefered home. ( I love the freedom I have now, it all feels so natural and flowing, my home at last - Luna) Luna has Been playing bass guitar for 19 years, guitar for 10 years, vocals for 25 years and song writing for 25 years. (Luna Reign started with experimentations with gothic style songs I wrote many years ago that I deeply enjoyed doing, like the songs 'Rain' 'Darkness' and 'Ghost Light'. I dont know exactly how it all started to come together, I guess I took along time trying to find my voice and sound, glad I have it now though :) But the first Luna Reign song came from when I found myself in a Grave yard staring at a stone grave statue of an angel, and all I could hear were voice saying over and over again ' I belong with you'. In that following week I wrote 'Final sin'. The Angel in question appears on the cover of the 'In Love and Silent Screams' album. ) more to follow later..........................................
Your influences?
A mixture of goth and rock/metal artists. Sisters Of Mercy, Him, Cult, 13 Candles and more....
Favorite spot?
graveyards, ancient places.......and oxford, I love the sense of academia.
