Ronin is a 5 piece San Diego hardcore/punk band.Viet(guitars)Alan(bass and back-up vocals)Eddie(drums and screams)James(guitars)Jon(vocals)
Why this name?
So many names came to mind but we decided Ronin, which is a type of gun from a James Bond Video Game,and it stuck with us.The signifcant of it is still unknown(HAHAHAHA)And no we did not get it from the DeNiro movie.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Alot of people nowadays are on the CPU,listenin to music.That its more easier to promote and expose new bands like ourselves.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Why of course,just as long as were having fun doing it and they dont screw us over....but were in no rush.
Band History:
The band started off with a different name "Sub-versive" back in 2001.With a different line-up except for Viet(guitars)Alan(bass)and James(guitars).They eventually got rid of their old drummer and vocalist for musical differences.Then in 2002 the 3 formed a new band along with related cousins Eddie"HULK"(drums)and Jon(vocalist)which would be known now as "Ronin".
