Why this name?
Meiyoko is my first name which means "child of the sun"
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think the internet is a very resourceful marketing tool for alot of entertainers and musicians
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I think the ultimate goal for any artist is to have that support and financial backing from a company that believes in the artist and the team.So yes if the situation was a good one I would definitely consider a major record company.
Your influences?
I listened to alot of stevie wonder, R Kelly, Donny hathaway and Sam cooke growing up. These artists have had a great influence on the artist I am today.
Favorite spot?
